Here’s a brief overview about Digital Lizard to whet your appetite. Speaking of appetites…if you’ve never eaten breakfast at Michael D’s, you’re in for a treat!

Tait Engebretsen is a sales pro for Digital Lizard, one of the largest and most advanced digital print facilities in the United States. And, believe it or not, they’re located right here in Hayden.

Digital Lizard specializes in web to print applications utilized by some of the largest corporations, franchises, and multi-level companies and the solutions they provide give web people like us creative ways to maintain brand image, distribute marketing materials and ways to integrate web and print marketing.

For example, Digital Lizard has a unique program where they’ll build a print on-demand website just for you. Simply use their URL or select your own unique domain name and then earn 15% commissions on all orders placed on your site. They basically do all the work for you. All you do is lead your clients and prospects to your website to place their orders and they’ll take care of everything else.

He’ll be talking about how changes in the print industry are changing the way companies can market to their consumers. He’ll also be providing some examples of successful web-to-print and print-to-web marketing campaigns.

Spring has finally arrived in Coeur d’ Alene and it’s time for our May meeting. Once again, we will be enjoying the environs of the conference room at Calypso’s Coffee in downtown CDA on May 7th at 8am.

This month’s presentation will be handled by Tom Latham, owner of Signal Point Marketing & Design in Post Falls. Tom will show us what he’s been doing with the Adventure Boot Camp network. His web site, www.bootcampsupply.com is a resource for a growing network of women’s bootcamp operators around the country. Tom provides these operators with marketing material in a very cost-effective manner because he’s able to develop a monthly set of materials and then to sell it to many different operators. The web site serves as the coordination point for these services.

This is a presentation that should be of interest to everyone. Tom’s business model creates a package that has value for one client, then makes it profitable by making it available to a niche industry. This same model may stimulate thoughts for your own business as you see and learn how it has worked for Tom.

It’s that time again! We have reserved the “fish bowl” room at Calypso’s Coffee again for our next CDA Web Marketer’s Meeting which is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 2nd at 8am (ending around 9:30am).

What’s on tap for this month?
Denver Wilkinson will be giving a presentation to the group about what they’ve been doing online with Wilkinson Air Group, a jet charter brokering business based in downtown Coeur d’Alene. He’ll be sharing some of his recent insights about SEO strategies for the jet charter industry, as well as video marketing experiments. Regardless of your industry, you’re bound to learn something.

Some key points that will be discussed by Denver are:

• Search Engine Marketing Strategies
• Using Google Analytics Data
• SEOMOZ
• Use of JotForms

*There’s also an unconfirmed rumor that Denver will be raffling off a jet charter package to the Bahamas during the meeting too. But again, that’s just hearsay.

Our hot seat this month is Will Sando, owner of Silver Lake Tire & Auto here in CDA. Will is interested in finding creative ways to use social media, along with his website, to help him continue to grow his business.

Nathan is a teacher at heart and his presentations are engaging and very informative. This is definitely a meeting you won’t want to miss.

We’ve reserved the back room at Cricket’s, which is outside I believe, the space has been reserved, however everyone will need to buy their own lunch.

During Friday’s meeting, we’ll hear from Randy Wilkinson with a brief education on the difference the way you present a price can affect your response.  He’ll show you how weird we are as consumers when it comes to deciding the value your offer has.  Learn how the “decoy method” can boost your response and how The Economist Magazine used this tool to their benefit.

If time permits, I, Jamie, will present on outsourcing.  I’ll talk about my experience as well as the value of a great outsourced team, what they can do for you, what to avoid, how to manage your team and what obstacles you might face.  If you are looking to add resources cost effectively, you’ll definitely want to be here this Friday at 8am at Calypsos.
